So what did you think of the simple technique to build
rapport with your boss? When are you going to
use this simple technique - Today?
I would love to have your feedback.
Relationship building is key to becoming a First-Class Manager.
If there is one skill you should concentrate on it is Relationship
Building and growing your personal network.
The First-Class Managers course includes my simple unique
Relationship Building Framework which enables you to build
long-term relationships with all your contacts, without them
even realizing it's all for your benefit.
Check out all the other tips and ideas in the
First-Class Managers Course.
Today's, topic is "The Power of Questions".
First-Class Managers know what questions to ask their
staff, peers, customers and Senior Management.
They make questioning look easy.
They fact find, digest the information, respond, act and
deliver.
In today's part of the e-Course, are listed some powerful
questions to ask your teams, staff, peers, customers and
Senior Management.
How effective are your questioning (and listening) skills?
Some will say listening skills are even more important - a
subject for another day!!
teams, staff, peers, customers and Senior Management:
How do you think the team is performing?
How can the team perform better?
What can we do differently?
What opportunities are we missing?
What gets in the way of great customer service?
What do we want to happen?
Where do we want to be?
Why do we want to be there?
How do we get there?
What will it feel like when we get there?
What do we have to do to remove blockages to
great customer service?
What are our priorities?
What is achievable?
If we achieve this, what else will change?
Who do we need to engage?
What would it feel like?
What would our customers be saying?
What can I do to support you?
What can we do to help each other?
What is in it for the team?
What is in it for the customer?
How will this help us achieve our goal?
How can we overcome that?
What can we learn from that?
How is this affecting you?
How can I empower you?
How do we want things to improve?
How can we do it differently in the future?
What does success feel like?
What is our objective?
How can we communicate better?
What have we learnt?
What are your strengths?
How can I help you?
How do you like to be praised?
What can we do better?
Just a small selection of powerful questions, which when
asked will provide so much insight and information.
Do you use similar questions? Do you act on the
responses you get in return? Your job as the Manager
is to ask, listen, act and deliver - all with urgency.
Now before we finish for today...
You can read all about the tools and techniques I have
shared with you as and when you want. You can go to
all the seminars available to you, read all the books there
are on becoming successful, sign-up to numerous newsletters,
but you are wasting your time and effort if you don't put
them into action - you won't succeed.
There is a quote that says, "An ounce of action is worth
more than a ton of theory".
It comes down to the point, that what I have stated here
means absolutely nothing to you, if you don't take it, run
with it and do something with it.
If you don't put the ideas into action within 7 days, then
you most probably won't. ACT NOW and give yourself the
chance to be an even better, successful and
High-Performing Manager.
Good luck.
Please feel free to contact me at any time with your ideas,
feedback or reports of your additional success - I would love
to hear from you.
