story."
Now, can any description beat the clarity of this quote?
When I present, I paint a picture with words - true stories
that go to the heart of the reader.
Storytelling is one of the best kept secrets in
influencing individuals. The most successful
presenters and managers in the world use
storytelling to win their audience.
Why do stories work?
They work so well because everybody loves
to hear a great story. we were conditioned
that way from the time we were kids. Any
intriguing true story creates a personal link
between the audience and the story-teller;
the reader can relate to the person telling
the story, the seedling for a personal bond
is planted - that's why I like using stories to
sell.
Almost everything you've desired and purchased
has a story behind it to say the least, and it
doesn't have to be one the presenters painted
in your mind, but instead a story you created in
your mind as well!
As a marketer, manager or presenter, if you
could tell a good story every single time...
the possibilities of wealth or buy-in you
can create is massive.
And, as you "train" your prospects to expect
a story every single time you send out a
message, the power of persuasion you
hold in your hands is staggering.
As I like to think... if you can TELL A GOOD
STORY every time you sell something, you will
never have to hunger for the rest of your life,
ever again.
Remember, use this information only for good
causes you want to make happen.
